"The combination of my experience in an industrial
foundry and my background and continued
interest in painting,
illustration and three-dimensional work, resulted in an MA study in
large-scale cast-metal-work and welded steel sculpture. One of the
pieces I made on this course
'Figurehead', was acquired by London
Docklands Development Corporation in November 1996 and was
Poplar Dock, East London in March 1998.
Subsequent teaching work and
training at Waltham Forest College runs alongside further
print-making and public art. I am curently preparing a series
of paintings and monoprints,
"Sea Interludes", for exhibition in
Aldeburgh, Suffolk, August 1998."
