FRANCIS SHAW
Francis is an experienced composer of a wide variety of music. His many television credits include Ireland: a Television History (BBC), Shackleton of the Antarctic (BBC), Jamaica Inn (HTV), Crime And Punishment (BBC), The Master Builder (BBC), the fantasy drama series Merlin Of The Crystal Cave and the documentaries The Transformers and Living With Lesley. He has also worked on the Meridian series Held in Trust and The Life And Loves Of Oscar Wilde (BBC). For films, Francis contributed music and orchestrated much of the score for A Room With A View and composed music for The Fourth Protocol. He wrote the scores for The Country Girls, And A Nightingale Sang, and Vendetta. Francis has provided new orchestrations of Charlie Chaplin's music, and choral arrangements of Les Miserables, Aspects of Love, Miss Saigon and Showboat. He has also arranged Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band for symphony orchestra.
