| IDiana Sylvester worked part time for Wiltshire Council as an Art
Lecturer and for many years at Bath Academy of Art in Corsham. She is
noted in the Acknowledgements to the 1989 exhibition catalogue which
celebrates the work at Corsham Court from 1947 to 1972. She is a member of
the Bath Society of Artists and has won the Overseas League Award from
that institution. She has exhibited extensively in the West Country and at
the David Messum Gallery in Cork Street and The Royal Academy in London.

| Her work
has been shown at Clifton Arts, Black Swan Gallery, Frome Winchester Art
Centre, Clevedon and regularly at the RWA. She has had solo shows at the
Wittox Gallery, Frome and a two person show at the Belmont Gallery, Bath.
